HAND Technologies, LLC (HAND) is a custom materials company founded upon extreme performance materials discovered at Mississippi State University (MSU). Primarily focused on U.S. defense related markets, HAND operates under exclusive license from MSU to commercialize a platform of highly processable BODA-derived resins (BDR) for the rapid production of matrix composites including thermosets, carbon-carbon (C/C), and other specialty ceramic structures (learn more here).

Research & Development: With over 30 customer/collaborator engagements, our team of materials chemists and product stewards have worked with aerospace-, composite-, and chemical-engineers to validate BDR’s unique performance advantage and demonstrate its scalability for production.
Facilities: Critical to its R&D thrust is a 2000+ sq. ft. of dedicated lab space for synthesis, characterization, formulation, and process research.
